“Bridging the East and the West”

They are the graduates from the Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine double degree programme offered by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). These all-round, dynamic full-fledged Chinese physicians are equipped with the knowledge of both Chinese and Western medical approaches, rendering the synergy of TCM theory and modern diagnostic standards possible. They are also registered TCM practitioners under the Singapore TCM Practitioners Board.

Attached to an integrated TCM and western medicine hospital in Beijing for 2 years, hands-on clinical skills including TCM formulation and western diagnostics were learnt. Having witnessed firsthand the “East meets West” approach, they truly appreciate the synergy of Western and Chinese medicine without conflicts for the benefits of patients. These outstanding physicians are also under the mentorship programme of Bao Zhong Tang, learning under the senior consultant physicians Dr Sun Huili and Dr Chen Jiayi, both with over 20 years of experience.

Ms Wang is well-equipped with the knowledge of complementation of both schools of medicine to benefit her patients. She focuses on the combined usage of TCM herbal medicine and acupuncture for treatment of various conditions, including internal medicine, gynaecology, pain management and general wellness. She also practices paediatric Tui-na for young children to relieve conditions associated with poor digestive system and immune system.

Consultant Physician

Ms Wong’s prior vocation at the National Cancer Centre Singapore coupled with 2 years of professional training at the Dong Fang Hospital in Beijing has equipped her with the confidence and skills to carry out an “East Meets West” approach to diseases. She utilises TCM herbal medication, acupuncture and tuina to treat various conditions.
