Bao Zhong Tang TCM Centre has our own Pharmacy dedicated to ensuring the best quality of herbs and medicinal services for all our patients. Our Pharmacy follows stringent protocols to ensure the highest quality of medicine prepared and delivered to all our patients.
Our Pharmacy stores more than 450 varieties of Chinese herbs to cater to all conditions. All herbs are imported and stored at their optimal temperature and humidity. Every prescription is verified by our team of certified TCM Herbalists before dispensing. Dispensed herbs are checked for their quality and quantity before they are sent for brewing or packaging.
Just like how every prescription is tailored for the individual, different types of herbs will require different preparation methods. At the brewery section, special care will be given to herbs that require specific brewing techniques and brewing timing. Brewing is closely monitored and handled with precision to ensure optimum concentration and extraction of the herbal concoction. All freshly brewed herbal medication are then packaged in FDA-approved retort pouches (which can withstand heat up till 120°C) and sealed under high temperature sterile conditions, guaranteeing consumption safety and ensuring longer storage time without the use of preservatives. To maintain the purity and efficacy of the herbal concoction, no preservatives are added and the medicine is best consumed within 30 days.
