CHEN JIA YI

Senior Consultant Physician

Ms Chen Jia Yi graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in medical science and has dedicated over 30 years to clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). During the 1990s, she served in the Departments of TCM Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Dermatology at Shanghai Longhua Hospital. Her areas of expertise include dermatology, oncology, gynaecology, assisted reproductive treatment, internal medicine, and autoimmunity. She has amassed considerable experience in treating various diseases and managing pain, among other conditions.

She also specialises in Cancer treatment which integrates traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine to enhance the quality of life for cancer patients, mitigate the toxic and side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, extend their survival, prevent tumour recurrence and metastasis, as well as facilitate recovery.

Another of Ms Chen Jia Yi’s speciality is TCM for fertility. Traditional Chinese medicine can assist IVF treatment by utilising traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture to improve ovarian reserve function and endometrial receptivity, increases the success rate of artificial insemination, and slow down the side effects of the ovulation promotion process. For autoimmune diseases, taking traditional Chinese medicine can regulate immunity, regulate qi and blood, strengthen the womb and improve the overall environment.

CHEN YANFANG

Senior Consultant Physician

Physician Chen Yanfang graduated from the Hubei University of Chinse Medicine in 1987 with a Bachelor Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Formerly an attending physician at the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Centre, Union Hospital, Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China, Physician Chen has over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience.

She is a lecturer at the Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China and is also a visiting lecturer at the Singapore College of TCM. She was also formerly employed as a Manager of Ma Kuang Healthcare Group and was the Operations Manager of the TCM Department of NTUC Health.

Physician Chen has also contributed to several research such as the “TCM Practical Management on Cardiovascular Disease”, “Encyclopedia of Comprehensive TCM Clinical Methodology and Treatment”, “An overview of the results of clinical trials with Dahuang Zhechong Wan treatment on height cholesterol”, “Stroke prediction and comparison of the different TCM prognostic factors”, “Study of the efficacy of “Lei Gong Teng” in the treatment of renal disease”.

With her years of experience, Physician Chen frequently deals with intractable symptoms, cardiovascular diseases, gynecology diseases, pediatric conditions, geriatric ailments and general health and wellness.
