CHEN YANFANG

Senior Consultant Physician

Physician Chen Yanfang graduated from the Hubei University of Chinse Medicine in 1987 with a Bachelor Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Formerly an attending physician at the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Centre, Union Hospital, Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China, Physician Chen has over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience.

She is a lecturer at the Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China and is also a visiting lecturer at the Singapore College of TCM. She was also formerly employed as a Manager of Ma Kuang Healthcare Group and was the Operations Manager of the TCM Department of NTUC Health.

Physician Chen has also contributed to several research such as the “TCM Practical Management on Cardiovascular Disease”, “Encyclopedia of Comprehensive TCM Clinical Methodology and Treatment”, “An overview of the results of clinical trials with Dahuang Zhechong Wan treatment on height cholesterol”, “Stroke prediction and comparison of the different TCM prognostic factors”, “Study of the efficacy of “Lei Gong Teng” in the treatment of renal disease”.

Consultant Physician

Physician Ho Ked Choong, born into a family of herbal medicine practitioners, has been practicing medicine for 36 years. He holds a Master of Medicine in Orthopaedics Traumatology of Chinese Medicine from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. He has treated tens of thousands of patients in his clinical practice. His specialties include internal medicine, dermatology, geriatric diseases, and pediatrics, with a strong focus on using acupuncture and tui na (Chinese therapeutic massage) to treat muscle injuries and pain.

Physician Ho emphasizes holistic treatment when addressing internal medicine diseases, using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and pattern differentiation to guide his practice. He works on balancing the body’s internal Yin and Yang, regulating Qi and blood flow, and improving organ functions. His prescriptions are simplified to achieve the goal of treating both internal and dermatological diseases. Physician Teo Koon See MMED graduated from the Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine in 2006 with a Master of Medicine in Orthopaedics Traumatology of Chinese Medicine.

Physician Teo has been practicing medicine for 30 years, specializing in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). His expertise covers a range of issues including finger joint dislocations, bone injuries, muscle strains, and ligament injuries.

Physician Teo has treated over 10,000 patients using TCM bone-setting techniques in clinical practice. He employs acupuncture and Tui Na (Chinese therapeutic massage) to clear meridians and regulate qi and blood circulation. His specialties include the treatment of neck, shoulder, lower back, and leg pain, such as lumbar sprains, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, and tenosynovitis.
